Hello Dave and Patty,
We have stayed at this campground in the past (prior to your ownership) and I have to say, y’all have made some great improvements!
This is the first time we’ve had a back in site by the pond, and we were very pleased with the site!
The site was level (which was very important to us as our leveling jacks weren’t working).
The 50A power was good.
Water had adequate pressure and was good water, and the sewer connection was threaded as it should be which enables a tight seal so no foul odor problems.
The bathrooms & showers are a bit old and dated, but were very clean and functional.
When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Patty, and your parents, who took us to our site.
The park was very quiet and peaceful, and it was so nice being able to sit outside and look at the beautiful pond.
In the evening, we enjoyed watching the fireflies light up.
We’re from the West, and don’t have them, so it was a treat!
I do have a suggestion: if you could manage to put a LARGE sign BEFORE the entrance to the park, coming in from the town of Nashville, that would be very helpful.
I passed the entrance coming back from town, and had to turn around in the Winery parking lot because I couldn’t see an advanced entrance sign from that direction.
With Hwy 46 being a busy road, and aggressive drivers on my tail, it made it a bit nerve wracking…
Next time we come to Brown County, we will definitely plan on staying at Friends O’ Mine Campground & RV Park again, and hope to stay in site #62 again!
Best Regards,
Noel & Ellen Taggart
